Seem's not, unfortunally.
Maybe we will wait for a mod that do the devs job...

What do you base that op of?! All Ph3 pc ports have ultrawide support most of them even support 4:3 as well. So this will absolutely support ultrawide to.

Is UW that necessary to appreciate a game?

It's surtenly helpfully to support more than just 16:9 aspect ratio. The stream deck for example has a 16:10 aspect ratio and the fact all recent Ph3 ports support it is great. But they also support upto 40:9 I believe. Which mean this guy is just wrong. Ph3 always puts in arbitrary refresh rates(up to 300 something fps I believe) and arbitrary aspect ratios such as ultrawide.

More options is better but straight up refusing to play a game because it's less than 16:10 / 4k120 FPS is just petty.

That depends on the game and how far you will take it. Having a action game run at 30fps is not acceptable. 60fps is acceptable.

And I agree that not having 16:10 is no deal breaker. Most of my game on steamdeck don't do that. But that doesn't mean that I am really Happy when a game does support arbitrary aspect ratio and framerates.

But as I allready said. This guy is just straight up wrong all Ph3 falcom ports support ultrawide as early as coldsteel 1.

60 fps and stable most of the time I do agree.

Stuff like UWS and 4K are fine for those who want it but most people can survive with 1080p 60fps.

You are giving the OP too much credit; this person mindlessly spams this topic on any discussion forum he/she comes to without checking any track record.

Still a niche format, like it or not.

I do agree, back in 2006 wide-screen got more popular but it technically existed before.

Also most people are fine with 16:9 since most movies are still watchable like this nowaday.

The difference with 16:10 isn't large enough to do the difference.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Every PC port made by PH3 has ultrawide support, including Ys IX. It's safe to assume Ys X will have it too.

I like when games today are still offering a 4:3 ratio for nostalgia, thanks.
