It could be the conflict between your antivirus and the HackShield module.
Just disable the former and relaunch it
It's likely a false positive. Client is clean. You may want to try a different antivirus software and check if it keeps warning you about a possible virus detection.
...I mean, client comes with Zombies in it, not viruses :)
It's not the fault of the virus software, it's the fault of HackShield. Why on earth you would even USE HackShield in the first place is beyond me because that software has long since been defunct and cracked. It offers literally no protection what-so-ever. I mean, just look at Archeage. It uses HackShield and it's full to the brim with hackers and botters. It literally takes a few minutes of google searching and you've found a HackShield bypass.
Maybe that HackShield bollocks flies over in the east, but for a western release you need something more reliable. Hell, why not just use VAC? Why on earth would you strip out VAC in favour of HackShield of all things? Sure, VAC isn't perfect but it's still better than bloody HackShield.
People shouldn't have to disable their anti-virus software in order to play your game and you certainly shouldn't be telling people to change their anti-virus, this is on you guys. Not the players.
Bringing this up again. This is a valuble thing for devs to consider. if you want your game to run on Window/Mac or any other platform then it needs to run accordingly.
To ask someone to turn off their virus protection is like telling someone to run on the battlefield with safety on, chamber empty, and mag not inserted. No one wants to pull out a bullet when it could have be avoided by being ready in the first place, just like no one wants to dig into their computer to remove a virus when they could have been safe all along.
