Where is the single player
I downloaded this because the store page says it has a single player.
I attempt to start a bot server and all the game does is treat it as if its a server search (saying no room matches my search).
Did they just plain lie when they said there was single player?
The game is basically just CS CZ with really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hit detection (or maybe thats cause there are only high ping servers available.)

Honestly all they have done is re-package "Zombie Panic" so the game wasnt even made my them (just like CS 1.6 wasnt even made by valve. It was a bunch of modders)

All I see is a confusing and badly made 'front-end' attached to old CS mods and content made by gamers

Concerning "No room matches", it sounds like you're using the function for finding existing rooms, not setting up your own room. Are you joining into your region's server, picking a channel, and then selecting "Create Room" ?

As for Single Player; once you have created a game room there are modes of play which are available to just a single user (Bot Deathmatch, for example). Some modes of Zombie Scenario work well for 1-player, but the difficulty is designed for multiplayer.

Actually I followed your instructions and yes, was able to run single player no problems doing that. I didnt enjoy this game online but weirdly i had alot of fun with bots in single player...actually I can see alot of potential for single play now...there are a ton of maps and all the classic ones are there...I discovered that I have to kill 500 enemies on easy setting before the next difficaulty level is unlocked...I may have changed my opinon about this game now...its free and has alot of offline replay for me now.

It's not actually zombie panic because zombie panic was released in 2003 and earlier than that there were cs 1.6 servers with zombie gamemodes(terrorists are zombies ct are survivors)

Thanks for giving the game a second look! There's a handful of modes that function with just 1 player in the room. Bot Team Deathmatch is a way I like to unwind.
Hope you enjoy exploring em!

Actually yeah. After going back to it and giving it a shot I started a survival game and others joined pretty quick and I had a blast with that.
I also just played a round of classic aztec with bots.
Ive already had pm's ingame asking me about it (some thought it was cs online).
I saw that some reviews were pretty harsh and perhaps they didnt go back to it like i did because im starting to discover a whole bunch of stuff now.

Its not ust zombies its pretty much everything youll find in CS CZ & 1.6 and a whole bunch more..thanks for putting it together.
Im usually pretty weary of Free to play (pay to win). But this game is pretty much free without strings and a must for any cs gamers. Next time I wont be so hasty to judge.

add single player with bots

Thats just what we were talking about. When you choose your region channel just hit the 'create server' button and form there you can choose a bot match. You can configure the bots aswell.
I'm not sure if you could access that feature with a computer totally offline though...that would be the ultimate...(being able to play a cs botmatch on a laptop anyehere would be pretty cool. Sometimes you arent always going to be in a wifi spot.)

(Actually i just got my answer - the game kicked me cause the servers were down for maintenace....That needs to change....you should be able to access the game independant of a server....if youre gonna put 'single player' on the store page you need to change that.)

Note: WTF now the game is kicking me every time saying 'no connection to server'. Totally unacceptable.

I appreciate some Single Player information, and the availability of bots. I know I'm not the only one that plays CS:GO in bots only. For me, it's because I'm just a sp (single player) at heart, been gaming that way a long time and cringe at the thought of real ppl in my games! :) (It's totally fine that others like to co-op, we're all different). Some though, do so because they're fed up with the community, and don't have friends that play the game, the only way to dodge the trollfest is to go it alone or w/friends. (There are other reasons for sp of course, bad internet, travel- no access to internet, etc.). **A question I have is- can you still earn some of the achievements (that don't require teamplay) as a SP? I love that about CS:GO, I realize 'some' of the achiev's I can't earn that require another person as well, but I accepted that when I purchased it. *Any helpful information appreciated. :csgostar:

Hello!

Singleplayer modes requires you to stay logged on CSN:Z/Steam servers anyway, that's why even matches with bots contribute to your points/Exp.
Since Achievements are linked to performing specific actions or playing specific gamemodes and similar, i guess you'll be able to find some that can be actually achieved even while playing "SP" modes.

Which makes single player unusable for me, I just followed these intructions and I am rubberbanding everywhere. I have a constant ping of 500 with a average packet loss of 20% http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5187167332 So unless singleplayer CSN:Z becomes offline capable like Killing Floor I cannot play it. And yes I do want to earn something playing it, I don't feel like playing the tutorials over and over for fun...

Big difference in this and KF - KF is a game that wants to be played. They let you do it any way you like. When a game throws up limitations only allowing 'certain' ways of play- it's their call of course, but it tells me they're not hungry for people to play their game. It's there- take it or leave it. {I left it-csn:z}. Personally, I prefer the previous. :Horzine::Clot:
