Ehh you don't really need over 100 fps. Plus, it can create screen tearing since it's not capped to your monitor refresh rate. Keep in mind it's your gpu that push out the frames so when it's pushed to create frames faster than ur monitor refresh rate, it can create screen tearing. Obviously screen tearing will rarely happen especially with good quality monitors but the human eye can't really tell the difference between 60 fps and 120. Humans can obviously differentiate smoothness of game play but higher fps does not equate to smoother game play.
