Character level unlock rewards?

I noticed a popup when I reached level 45 saying that it had unlocked some sort of bonus, which made me wonder if that had been a thing all along? Every 5 levels you get something more than decode tokens? It went by too fast for me to note down what it was.

Is there somewhere to check this? I can't find anything in the menus with information on your level. Nor could I find anything through google, or the posts here.

Did I just imagine it?

I think the reward from level up is that you can bring 1 more card for each of them in Grand Battle.

Yes, and that happens every fifth level.
