Is there a way to start this game?

What am I missing? I select tutorial 1, then start game, and it just throws me back to the selection screen. There is nothing I can do to actually start a game.

on the right of the screen you select what you want to play,
then in the middle of the screen you put play,
then sit in the chair on the right and the game will begin
