You need to edit the .bat file that launches the game. Go to the install location. (Right-click game>Manage>Browse Local Files) Edit the file "firepx16.cmd" I prefer playing windowed as it has less issues for me so remove the -fullscreen and then I increase the scale to 2. Here is what my file looks: "%~dp0/windows/x16emu.exe" -fsroot "%~dp0game" -prg "%~dp0/game/PLANETX16" -capture -run -scale 2 exit Full list of commands that I think are relevant to this game. -scale {1|2|3|4} scales video output...

So, love it! Beat it on the open map. Some issues however: 1. playtime is not tracking on steam. 2. Cannot use steam screenshot so can not share 3. Because of #1 can not review the game. 4. Alt-tab or any other change to another window does not work and soft locks to the game. 5. Sound gets really choppy....

Am I correct in assuming that this will run inside a bundled Commander X16 Emulator?

With all due respect, dumping plain txt file into "about this game" section isn't the best way to handle things.

Hello I enjoy Planet X16. I downloaded it on day 1 and used the instructions to run it with the emulator. Now I wonder: Is this here a different version than the one on the website?
