i dont understand this game :/

im playing with a controller - more on that later

- why do windows suddenly stop expanding when i near the edge, locking me into a tiny window thats teeming with enemies or bullets suddenly? the windows not near the edge of the screen or anything

- what do the perks do for killing bosses? i had one that looked like an eye but no idea what it did. theres no text or information on what they do, youre buying blind

- why all of a sudden did a yellow smiling face and hands appear on my screen? another boss?

-why did the smiling face window suddenly said 'click here' on it?
how am i supposed to 'click' anything with an xbox controller?

- which leads me to say that this game really doesnt seem designed for controllers. it might technically support them but its very clunky. navigating the menus at the start is frustrating, especially the options window where i got locked into certain options settings with no way to back out or switch to 'audio' etc

1 lets you see beyond youw window, drops healing when upgraded
2 deals damage, destroys hostile projectiles in a smaller area when upgraded enough
3 depends on what character you're playing as

The smiling face is indeed a boss. It has an attack that shrinks your window, possibly being what you're describing as

This might sound a bit silly, but I still haven't found a way to quit the game on controller other than closing it from the library. On mouse, you have to close the window that shows the game's logo, but there's no way of doing so on controller that I'm aware of.

playing this of all games with a controller? if there was ever a "not recommended with controller" its this. but yes a description on what the perks do is needed, maybe someone can make a mod for that. the whole click here for the smiley face boss is just simple trolling even when you die by it you still cant click to close
