[SOLVED] Unable to Launch game, please help.

[EDIT]: I was running the Nahimic 2+ Audio Driver that was standard from my motherboard. Disabling it lets me launch the game normally. See the provided link for details.

Whenever I press play on steam I get no error, no window, and no evidence that Window Kill has launched other than a process in my task manager.

I have attempted to launch in default and Vulkan, with and without Safemode, and with and without the steam overlay. No combination of these processes has worked.

I would hate to refund the game, as it looks quite enjoyable, but I simply cannot play it. Has anyone encountered this issue? Has anyone solved it?

Unfortunately no, regardless of how I launch the game I get no feedback at all.
Maybe worth noting maybe that I'm on windows 10 with a 3 monitor setup with 1440 resolution. I just reinstalled to a different hardrive, and verified files, etc.

I click play, it gives me a working cursor which changes back after about 10 seconds and then nothing happens.

try launching it directly from the exe, I saw something about a command that manages to fix it on the itch page so you could try that (i'll send here when I find it)

Thanks Loaf but still nothing. I tried running the command in console as well as running the .bat file (which does the same thing). Also tried with admin privileges still to no avail
