IS this game region based? So for example I'm from Asia, if I go to server browser, I can only see servers from my region?

I went to server browser and no one is playing. I hope they remove region restrictions so we can see more open servers to play with.

Currently you can only see lobbies in the list that have not started yet (are still in the lobby menu). That might be why you're seeing so few. I think there's some work done on drop-in joining but not sure what the state of it is, Myran could say more about that.

its a bit overpriced ..and don't understand why need GOG multiplayer to sing in to works..maybe is this..

Brand new game with tons of content and modding support that cost only 15$. How is that overpriced in any way ?

I enjoy it a lot so far, but I was hoping for a thriving multiplayer, that not being there does make it feel kinda overpriced if you were expecting it.

Well as I said in different topic . The game doesn't have a join in progress as for now like the other Serious Sam games , which makes it difficult to have new lobbies going on non stop.
And also big part of the players prefer to play the game with well known people and not with randoms.
For that reason there is pinned discussion in the forums that say " Multiplayer Community" so people interested in the MP can join and enjoy organised MP sessions with 12+ players.
