How to legitimately find the cow level?

Hello, I've been playing a Bogue-like run off and on for a few months now. I'm aware that to find the random cow level, I have to be playing on Bogue-like mode (I have no other switches on), but I've been through dozens of levels now. I lost count after so many map repeats, and my character is currently level... I think 62 (I already have all the upgrades unlocked). I know from another thread that there is a console command to instantly warp to the cow level, but I am just wondering, how do I go there the "right" way?

PS: the most annoying thing about Bogue-like is that it keeps giving me the Feast-Fear level, wiping out all weapons. I understand that the nature of the mode is to be random, but it is super annoying (especially after finding the lightsaber and auto-shotgun).

Iirc you got a 2% chance to get the cow level after finishing a level. I know that isn't helping much but I don't think there's another legit way to get into the cow level beside getting lucky

EDIT: just got a game-ending bug on this bogue run, in the last level, the first missile code would not work (any of the possible combinations always resulted in bombs), so I just used the level skip to see the cow level. No achievement but whatever, I just wanted to see the level.
