Best Pet?

With the update, what do you feel is currently the best pet? I still like the parrot, but the wolf has some nice bonuses.

Massive nerf that people put time to bond and resources to level and no refund on them? You effectively made one of them useless. Same with the gold buffing pets. You keep getting feedback on here to be more transparent/ give folks a heads up on big changes and you keep not doing it. Now I know why I saw so many angry comments/ reviews when I first started playing.

Now, i kinda like Reindeer overall, Mostly for the 90 bones a day, which is often times at least what you would get from an extra Egg a day. It's other bonuses are not bad, either. After that, I'm using Parrot and Fox for max seagulls.

Note, this is only considering rank 9 pets. And my style is more actively passive, i check in every 30 minutes to an hour, so Gulls are good for me.

But that's only useful if you play actively. Which is rarely the case with an idle game.

After much testing, I found the combination of the capybara and having a crew with high stats in Bonus Fish (Gold Coin & Silver Coins) incredibly powerful. If you're lucky enough to snag a seagull with increased catching, or even better, a golden seagull that does the same over an extended period, the money rolls in.

That's been my experience, and I hope this helps someone.

I recommend the penguin at 13 lv stars, high % passive income from silver and gold, and the increased chance of all kinds of fish gives a huge increase in gold, plus a pet with a bonus to gold or faster reeling. The same goes for crew faster reeling gives more than increased % gold gain. Let me know if it works for you and what is your hourly currency increment?

And wolf, I am wondering if a combo of these 2 is good.
