That setup seems like a really boring way to play the game, but to each their own I guess.

Also, didn't realise you were only talking about the ending A final boss. Though I'd imagine this works against the true final boss too, just is even more tedious.

I think ultimately my opinion is that the last boss can be lame if you make it lame. Personally I found the last boss really fun, I went in with scythe, the first fist ability, chain counter, and no. 7's first ability. It made for a very dynamic fight which took me quite a lot of attempts to beat.

Honestly, I don't care whether they nerf it or not. If people want to use a god mode cheat the devs included in the game, I support that choice. My personal take is that it makes the game super boring and so I don't use it.

using nola is... strange. try attacking repeatedly (especially in air) and then carapace. there will be times that it will dash instead.

so a wrong timed carapace in the middle of attacks that will force dash you will be costly.

How is Declan's Ring god mode? Sure you can heal a fair bit of health with pressure abilities. Bur considering the fact that it costs 9 slot points, that Lilac is so squishy and that bosses are always attacking, I don't see how this item is OP at all.

Congrats? You used a powerful tool to your advantage. Good on you. The final boss is not easy. Make it harder on yourself by switching up stats. It's a simple solution. People really do be complaining over the dumbest things.

dude i literally used the declan strat without using declan's ring. I still managed the last boss easily. what do you think will happen if I actually used the ring?

Why are people getting mad at playing the game with the tools included in the game? The last boss wasn't hard if you have all the tools available. Sounds like a GOOD Metroidvania game. They will introduce more updates and give you more things for a challenge.

The best part of this game is people can enjoy it how THEY want. Want comfort? Turn down the difficulty. Want pain? Drop all the tools and jack up the difficulty. Play how you want is what make this game OP on the rating, not because it is too easy or too difficult.

Game has full difficulty sliders so you could have made it way harder, this sounds like a personal problem
