Glad to be of service.
Yeah like I get the fact that my post seems like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about broken things in a single player game, but maaan
I just don't feel like limiting myself to only using certain things in a game unless I'm in for a challenge run
Alternatively you have diminishing returns; Initially healing the same as usual but once it hits a soft cap too quickly, it'll change to 1 hp per 2 hits, then 1 hp per 3 hits, and so on until you stop to reset it.
Think it's unfair? Don't use it.
I just 100% the game and never even equipped Declan's Ring. That being said, I do not think the devs need to change it. It's a tool that may be used by people struggling with the game, but don't want to mess with the Difficulty Settings.
I felt OP by abusing the carapace, Savage counters and Attuner art i-frames or using Lorna's heal art + SP gain relics. There's always a way to "break" the game.
But it took me a good 20 attempts on hard difficulty (+50% HP). Had Declan's ring, but no pressure attacks. Scythe healing for 8 hp per combo is acceptable
