Are the scraps bugged?
I'm currently just after the part where you unlock the stomp attack. I then also got a tutorial message about destroying enemy parts to earn scraps by either fall damage or specific actions (like the stomp attack, which they also show in the little tutorial video). However no matter how much i stomp on the enemies and no matter which enemy I try, I simply don't get any scrap.

I even went as far as trying the enemy from the tutorial message (not the enemy type, but the actual specific enemy) and still nothing.

(Also, on a related note: please tell me this does not turn into: Hey, here you have a big and varied selection of abilities, but to actually farm this important resource we will just go ahead and railroad you into just spamming these few specific abilities over and over again...)

To reassure you: you'll get more, less out of the way, means to wring Scraps out of enemies later, and a relic to increase the drop rates.

when you destroy the armor you get the scrap, they get some red scratch and the visual lose some armor. you can do only 1 time per enemy

I understood that much. (That was very clear from the video in the tutorial message.) What I did not know was that I need to go from very high, which was mostly due to the fact that I even tried the exact enemy they show in the tutorial, so I did not think the height was relevant as there is not really a lot of height for that enemy.

Thanks, that clarifies it. Was confused by the tutorial.
