How to use quest items?

After the A ending, I'm exploring further, but I'm wandering around not knowing how to use the "stone tablet" and "eyes". All areas are shown as explored except for the two places with the red flowers (and the boss room on the top floor) and the area blocked off by a barrier, and there are no hints, so I'm trying to forcefully search all areas...
When I gave the black cigarette? item to an NPC, an event occurred in a place that was shown as "explored" on the map, so someone is probably standing there somewhere, but there was no hint, which was a bit troubling.
Does anyone have any idea?

You have to talk to the traveling priestess in a few areas, you find her in the sorcerer’s academy first although I don’t remember exactly where.

After some searching, I found an area I hadn't found yet and was finally able to move things forward. Thank you!
