Temperature GPU

Hello everybody,

anybody else experiences really high temperatures on their GPU?
Already adjustet the resolution and put settings to low, but still I am at 87 degrees celcius after just a few minutes of gameplay.

Anyone else with this issue?

Have you capped your fps?`

Can see that fps limit/vsync is off by default.

Remember to toggle those to your monitors refresh.

That's a very unhealthy temperature, even at uncapped framerate. You GPU should never go above 75C or so, even at 99% load. Mine maxes out at 65C under very heavy benchmarks. I would look into getting a better case (e.g. with a mesh front panel).

No abnormalities here. But yeah, it's a good idea to go into your GPU control panel and set a global fps limit so nothing like that ever happens.

Yeah, you may never know if a game have done something really stupid.

Like when i booted up crash 4 on PC release and i ended up hearing every fan go to full power and a bunch of coil whine for the first time from my system... In the loading screen. For some reason the fps was 400.

It's like the game ran at stress test levels of setting or something. And since then i've set fps globally to my monitors refresh rate.
