Itachi doesn't suck, Deidara just has insane clay spamming.

If you want to win, all you have to do is avoid his ranged spamming. I don't really remember the fight being too hard.

Second of all, you can chakra dash throught most of Deidara's projectiles.
Finally, if you fight against stupid spammer, then jump to the side and throw shurikens. He won't hit you, but you will.

Lol, press Y, and then A to chakra dash.

But I highly recommend using aerial dash instead. It can be performed by pressing A three times, and it consumes less chakra. Using aerial dash, you can go through all those annoying clay birds without taking damage. This also gets you closer to deidara.

Once you're close enough and you've hit Deidara with aerial dash, perform an aerial combo. ( Just keep pressing B in mid-air, loool ). Repeat this process, and you'll soon defeat Deidara. Also, train with Itachi a bit to see his moveset, if necessary.

If you want to clear this battle with the bonus condition ( Finishing him with Ultimate jutsu ) It's easy. Just get close enough to him, make sure he has no sub logs left, and do Y+Y+B. Itachi's also hits from behind, so he can't evade it. If he blocks it, try again.

Well, you can also be experimental during the battle, and check his combo/command list. It helps, and it doesn't really take much time to master the aerial dash/combo. You'll find the battle easier as you keep trying.

Deidara is actually a pretty annoying character because of his clay bird spam. We can all agree on that. Just keep calm and don't lose your temper, keep trying and be strategical.
