Naruto The Movie: The Last Subbed Release Date
I know that the movie comes out in Japan on Dec. 6 but when will there be an English sub version available? Road to Ninja (the previous Naruto movie) was released in Japan in July 2012 but there wasn't a subbed version available until April 2013. If this coming up movie takes as long as the last one to get an english subbed version then it could be this time next year before there's a subbed version for the movie. I hope this isn't the case, but it's a very real possibility. I think it's safe to assume that the 4 chapters left in the manga won't wrap up everything and that this movie will be canon and finish up the series. Maybe since it's canon they will try to get a subbed version out faster? Anyways, does anyone know when the subbed version will be released?

P.S. If you've been reading the Naruto manga then check this out http://www.naruto.com/j/countdown/
It brought tears to my eyes XD I'm gonna miss Naruto so much. Dattebayo!

The movie will most likely not be canon, also it will always take 6-8 months for subbed versions of the movies to come out. Edited: Grammar and Misword.

Because if you read the latest pamphlet on it, it says something along the lines of "Will Naruto make it in time to save the world from the Crashing Moon?"

Like every other anime movie it won't be out here for at least a year after the japanese release date. (officially and with a dub at least)

the fansub will be out days after the dvd\blu-ray release though.

So how does that make it not canon?

Kishi is writing it and designing all the characters. It couldn't be more canon.

I don't think you understand what canon means story wise. Just because Kishimoto writes the movie doesn't mean it will be canon, especially considering it involves the Moon again. There is also speculation it's an alternative to the Moon Eye plan. *sigh* Edited: Assumed Kishi wrote Naruto movies.

Blood Prison was written by Kishimoto? Seriously?

Sorry there Lord Jiraiya. It was Higashiyama for Blood Prison and Miyata & Kishimoto for Road to Ninja. Please don't kill me for not knowing who writes, directs, distributes, and voice acts in the movies.

It's gonna be canon. The crashing moon is probably the chibaku tensei with Kaguya and Black Zetsu inside so it's canon.

Why would their sealing moon be falling down?

Judging by how Sasuke is dressed, he's probably not going to be returning to the leaf so I assume that he has something to do with it. The whole Naruto vs. Sasuke thing most likely won't be resolved in the manga because this pamplet or whatever says will Naruto make it in time, not Naruto AND Sasuke which implies that they aren't working together and we know that Sasuke isn't killed by Naruto becaues there's a character design for him. Naruto and Sasuke were the only ones given SO6P powers so if Naruto didn't release the chibaku tensei then Sasuke must have something to do with it. Therefore, the Naruto vs. Sasuke thing won't be resolved in the manga since both of them survive and they appear to still be enemies so their final battle will take place in this movie. That's why it's canon.
