CPU problem
As soon as I create the session steam.exe takes ~30% of my CPU, and the rest goes for the game, in total 100%. I'm not even talking about match, I can even choose "ok" in the session. It lags like hell. Single player is ok and this didn't occur in Storm 3. I know that some people are having this issue too. Please respond.

Same problem here too, whenever I go in online mode the "Steam Client Bootstrapper" starts using till 50% CPU, until formatted the PC, and did not solve problem.
Steam support has gone a link, but did not help. Storm 3 has no problems.

same here

i don't know what causes it

the reason is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ netcode.
since this game is on p2p connection it forces steam to do a lot of calculations and connection tasks, so the only thing that might help is setting steam.exe to Low priority in the task manager.
i don't think there will be a fix for this unless they will make a server for this game, cuz p2p is kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ imo.

lol priorities doesn't work, don't think that I haven't tried that. As I said Storm 3 online was fine for me, and it's almost the same game with updates..

For me steam.exe is using 25% of CPU, and game the rest. I tried making steam.exe running at only one core, tried changing priority to low, but nothing helps. Online is laggy and also has framedrops.

In my case it is using the 70-100% of my CPU, maybe because it's a bit old? :(

maybe try putting the process on its own cpu.

change to low priority doesn't work omg need a fix

Tried changing priorities for both: NSUNSR and Steam, tried affinity, and various Nvidia settings too.

I have the exact same issue. Single player works like a charm. Online menu lags as hell when creating/joining a session. I managed to be in a match but that was unplayable as unko.

Tried several solutions, but none of them really worked. I hope they do something about it, because I've been interested in going a bit more competitive.

im glad im not the only one with the problem this makes online really bad. Offline mode plays perfect the only way to get a ok game online , is to set priorities low and use only 1 core on steam even so still laggy 20fps the game plays like in slowmo i really hope this gets fix waste of money if not
