Using a ps3 controller?

So I bought this game, and found out afterwards it needed an xbox controller, which i dont have. Is there any way to connect a ps3 controller to my game?

yes there is a way to play it with an ps3 controller. you have to emulate your ps3 so it is known as an xbox controller.. Use the DS3 tool to install the PS3 controller driver (original one) and then use x360ce to emulate the whole thing.
If the ds3 tool-driver install doesn't worke due certificate things just roll back your computer-time back to 2013.
You gotta do this because the certificate made by the DS3 Tool Team is just valid to 2014 (somewhen in summer)

you need the "Better DS3 Tool" Which can convert your PS3 controller into an xbox one without any issues.

Motion and Ds3 tool are known for ads and spyware. Just google how to use the xbox 360 drivers with a ps3 controller

I like ps3 controller more, but for naruto shippuden ninja storm? I don't know if I can play that with a ps3 controller or should i buy a xbox controller?

Yea I use a ps3 controller and it reads as an Xbox one so all you would need to do is use the controllers like an xbox.
