What mode to unlock characters/costumes?
What mode do I play to unlock stuff? I'm guessing Ninja World Tournament but I'm wondering if you can unlock stuff in another mode.

Free Battle you can get most of the stuff. It just takes a while lol

By the way... isn't there a tutorial mode? It just throws me into battles without offering to teach me the controls

i believe you start getting unlocks after you reach 1 million ryo until about 1.6 million ryo.

Just do a lot of matchs with AI in Versus mode.

Guys, just do free battle vs AI and turn the handicap all the way up you can win in a few jutsus, it only takes like an hour to to unlock every character

If you finish all battles in survival mode you should have enough money for everything. The last few battles reward 18k or more per win + whatever you get from your ranking.
