He's just a huge mess and it really bugs me how easily he can change his mind and decide life-altering things on a whim like that. Karen is no better, especially since she forgave him for almost killing her and Sasuke wanting Sakura to kill her.
I think he should have just been killed off or at least arrested for life. He may have changed his ways, but that doesn't change what he did.
Also, just because someone fixes your mistakes, it doesn't mean you should automatically be forgiven and act like what you did wrong never even happened. Naruto can't just whipe away what Obito or anyone else did. History doesn't work like that. It's like saying what Hitler did was forgotten, because he killed himself. BS.
What's even more stupid, is that even when no-one can remember what happened in the past, such as the story and events of Dynasty Warriors (Even though it's highly romantisized), people still care about the right and wrong things people did back then, because it happened. Even thoguh none of that stuff really matters now, because it happened 1800 years ago, it still happened (Even if it didn't, the books helped and other books "based" on "true events" like the Bible are held in very high regard) and Naruto and everyone just saying that he can just wipe away everyones mistakes forever is beyond stupid. Obito will probably be known as a bad person in the future of that universe and Sasuke will be known as a traitorous turn-coat.
tl;dr Sasuke sucks.
I totally agree with you
Sasuke betrayed Konoha. Naruto saved Konoha. Naruto is the reincarnation (or something along those lines) of the Sage of Six Paths (as proved by the Tailed-Beasts' reactions to him in a previous chapter. Sasuke's words in Ch. 631 were rejected by Shikamaru, who said it is impossible for him to become Hokage due to everything he's done in the past, and Shikamaru has never been wrong before. Naruto told Sasuke that he himself was going to be the Hokage after a flashback relating to Itachi. Lastly, Naruto is the main character of the story, and the end of the series will be soon (according to Masashi Kishimoto-san). At this point I'll also add something else that I've noticed as of late. Naruto hasn't been stressing on saying he'll become Hokage. What I mean to say is, he's been focused more on actually helping his village than trying to attain the title. I would argue that Naruto is already technically the Hokage of the Leaf... He's leading the war, protecting everyone to the best of his abilities... There's no doubt that he's already been acknowledged like he always wanted to be. Also If it wasn't for him madara would never have 8 tails chakra because he would never fight the jinchuriki and I love it how noone gives a ♥♥♥♥ on how he killed the sixth temp hokage
Probably the only good thing he did is killing Danzo.
As a game character Sasuke is fast and has quite good N/UJs (there are 6 different options).
EDIT: 7 different options (2 PTS, 5 Shippuden).
Exactly. The only good thing he did was kill a member of the Hidden Leaf.
He also had a chance to forgive his brother and forgive the Leaf (Before things went too far), but no. Instead, after killing his brother, Sasuke just decided that he respected and loved his brother too much to let the Leaf live. Whatever that means...
1. A member of Hidden Leaf who provoked the invasion of Pain, took under control leader of another village, ordered slaughter of people he was supposed to protect.
2. The funny thing Sasuke didn't kill Itachi (it was some unknown disease). To forgive something, if it's running around and representing danger is hard.
3. Teenagers aren't adequate in general and this one relized that his last family member gave the life in order to protect his little brother. Also that Sasuke failed with everything he could by that moment.
And neither of the personal qualities affects Sasuke's abilities as a game character.
There are flaws in logic in the manga, which I can't explain ("My almost-gf committed suicide - gonna destroy the world", other "I feel bad and killing random people will make it better"-stuff, Naruto's position about his parents, Sasuke, Kurama, etc. and his Talk Opponent to Death no Jutsu).
On the other hand, it's an artwork with own rules (like putting a chapter-long flashback in the middle of fight). And it makes Sasuke as manga character one of the main reasons for Naruto to develop. In other words, makes him useful.
And I'd like to see Naruto vs Sasuke battle in the end. Catharsis or something.
