Game Won't Launch, Windows 10?

Hello,

I bought this game yesterday, but whenever I hit Play on the launcher, the game doesn't launch. Also, my avatar turns green for a few seconds, then turns blue.

I've tried running the program as an administrator, running the NSUNSR and its launcher in compatibility (Windows 8, 7), but none of it has worked.

My graphics card is also Nvidia, so the Radeon trick wouldn't work.

Is there anything I can do? Or do I just have to accept the refund?

Same thing happened to me and I'm running Windows 10. I'm not sure how to help though, sorry.

@ L0Lhey i might've found your fix. I was having the same problem. I went into graphical settings and unticked windowed mode.

I figured it out! Go to: Computer/Program Files (x86)/ Steam/ SteamApps / common/ NARUTO SHIPPUDEN ULTIMATE NINJA STORM REVOLUTION. Then Right click NSUNSR and go down to properties then compatibility, then check run as Administrator. Do this with NSUNSR_launcher too! I love this game now!

Even with running the programs as admin and trying to run the game as fullscreen, it still wouldn't work for me.

I guess it just doesn't like me.

I just bought the game and had the same problem.
I think the problem is an inconsistency reguarding microsoft visual c++ 2010.

Go to this folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NARUTO SHIPPUDEN ULTIMATE NINJA STORM REVOLUTION\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2010

You'll see two setups: vcredist_x64 and vcredist_x84
Run them and instead of reinstalling just repair them.

For me it solved the problem.

Mine says it's missing MSVCP100.dll.

Okay guys, ive scoured the internet and steam for the answer to this white screen problem, and nothing has worked. Ive repaired (manually) the vcredist_x64 and 84, ive run both the NSUNSR.exe file and the launcher file as administrator. ive put ON Vsync at the start menu and UNCHECKED the windowed mode put the resolution on 1920x1080, I have the directX june 2010 redist package installed and use Nvidia GeForce GTX 850M. ive also updated all my drivers. I still keep getting the white screen. I have 16GB Ram, Windows 8, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.60GHz, 64bit.


If i try to launch the game in full screen as many people have suggested, it still comes up with the same problem, however i have to restart the entire computer because i cant even interact with the control panel to close the damn thing. If anyone has come across the same problem as I have (trying everything suggested to no avail), and has found any other solution or fix, id be really grateful if they could help me out.

Wow, you really covered all your bases :D ive tried copying the files from system 32, however the game still cant launch after I click play. Perhaps ive done it wrong? i just copied both the files in the _CommonRedis folder, alongside the DirectX folder and the Vcredist folder, is that right?

Nope, you wanna copy those .dll's to the naruto shippuden ultimate ninja storm revolution folder in steamapps/common.
