Can't Unlock Characters: Ninja Storm Revolution

Okay so before I start let me just say that I know how to play the game. I know how to unlock people. I know the difference between the Tournament Roster and the Free Battle one.

Now for the issure at hand. Basically I have been playing through the game saving my Ryo because I realize you this to get more playable characters however; no matter how much I save I cannot unlock anyone. I have had well over 1.6 million and still nothing.

I then turned to cheat engine to see if it was just me or if I really wasn't able to unlock anyone with the amount I had and once again; nothing.

I literally cannot unlock a single character with Ryo and my mass amount of searching for a solution have come up empty handed. Does anyone here know what is causing this? Or perhaps how to solve it?

I forgot to update this thread however; I actually found out the mystery. It turns out it was the games way of preventing cheat enigine. The value of your Ryo will in fact change, but the game keeps an internal record of how much you legitamately earn.

All in all, you legit have no other choice but to grind out all the characters. Hope this clears the issue up for others.
