NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM Revolution

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM Revolution

Another one-button masher like all the others?
Or does "re-vamped gameplay" mean a semblance of depth this time?

Also, will the only cool antagonist in the franchise's history, Orochimaru, be playable?

I don't think so, at least, in the demo, it's very hard to play... when i tried the demo for first time, well... It's like if i hadn't play nothing, and i'm an experienced player.

Btw, I think we will be able to play with orochimaru in the story mode... against pain, i think.. i'm not sure anyway.
Orochimaru has been playable for years. It's still a one button fighter but it certainly has a lot more depth than what you are making out.
All Naruto Ultimate Ninja -games from Storm onwards have been button mashers. The PS2 ones had more depth. Shame they had to abandon that style. I enjoyed them far more.
^ Apparently themes of constant violence and war are for kids, so the gameplay follows suit.
Sablicious you no idea what you are talking about. Please, get out.
Literally every game can be played by pressing one button. I could go into GRID and just keep mashing accelerate until I smack into the boundaries just as much as you can mash the attack button in STORM and get the snot kicked out of you by everything you fight.

You don't think that's a bit of an exaggeration. The combat in this game has never been its strong suit. It's just a fun game to mess around in. I just find it funny how they actually ended up removing a combo from an already extremely simple game. There's what? 4 combos in the game for each character? It's stupid. I think people just want more out of the game which, again, I don't get why they don't change it since they clearly want to market this as a competetive game.

Which has never failed to bemuse me, with respect to any of the Naruto games. That is, you'd think a source material so steeped in combat would have a better gameplay emaple to offer up than the GNT series; which itself was more a party brawler franchise than anything close to actual fighting games.
How you play is really up to you. I think it's nice how it is because new players can still feel like they aren't terrible and seasoned players can pull off some cool stuff. Even if you CAN just mash buttons, you don't need to, and you'll be far better if you don't.
^ That's tantamount to saying that new players to chess find it hard so all the piece should be changed to queens.

The reward lies in having to work and practice to get better, not in simplsitic button mashing to be indulged with spectacular actions. It's why there are so, so many Naruto games -- they're shallow and have the staying power of yoghurt on a window sill in summer.
Sablicious if your asking is there any super complicated comands that you need to do a combo? There is not. I've played a lot of naruto games and all of them use "Easy to learn. Hard to master." style of gameplay.
I'm sorry but the storm series are pretty terrible in gameplay....played full burst.. 1 player was boring and it didn't got challenging until the madara and tobi fight they have this free roam thing when you beat the game... and played only a little bit of it until I decide to uninstal the game from the computer.... I actually preferred the Clash of Ninja version.... and these games don't even have 2 vs 2.. I no idea why they are releasing this game without finishing the comics first..... so from what it looks like I won't even beable to play as sage obito

1st. CC2 is not the one whos wrighting manga. It's Masashi Kishimoto.
2nd. Moust stories are first finished then go to print. In other words story is 100% complete, and CC2 is just doing what Bandai Namko/Kishimot tell's them to do.
3rd. Fuc*ing SPOILERS DUDE! Moust of people dont even know who Toby/fake Madara is.
