If you bought it, I'm absolutely sure that you'll be able to redownload the Linux client for free. (When we released the Mac version, this was the case)

That is how Steam has done it so far for most games that support Lunix/Mac.
I do hope it is worth it for you guys as I know it is not cheap to rework the game engine to support OGL if it is a DX based game engine and while I see people want it, Steams statistics show a very small amount for Linux still (around 2%).
You don't have to rebuy anything.
