Mind Scrape Crawler has Serena

mouse problems

Ever since I got a new imac 2017 the mouse only wants to go upwards and its very hard, impossible actually to keep it horizon-like height, it wants to point to the roof all the time...on MacOS Sierra.

Anyone having the same problem or knowing a solution?

I didn't try the game on macOS Sierra, I'm sorry. I'll try to check it out soon (I'm actually running Sierra now).

I just downloaded and I'm having the same problem. It's completely unworkable. I can't do a thing. :(

Hey folks, I believe this may be related to another known issue. Can you confirm if you have a Retina display?

Alright, I'll need to work on this issue. It's not a straightforward solution, I'm afraid. Playing in windowed mode at a smaller resolution (say 1920x1200) may do the trick.

I want to try that but I can not find any settings in serena, how do I change it into 1920x1200

You can configure this by editing the config.lua file in the game folder :)

Add me to the list having the Mac mouse issue only wanting to point at the ceiling. Also, the captions are cut off at the bottom. Really interested in playing though if you have a quick fix!

Have you guys tried editing the config.lua file? I'm positive the game should work well in windowed mode. I'll try to work on a fix ASAP, but it's a busy period with GDC looming on the horizon :/

I have an iMac 2018, running macOS High Sierra. I had similar problems at first. But then I edited the config.lau file with TextEdit. I change to a smaller resolution (1920 x 1200), set the fullscreen to false and set the verticalSync to false. After I did that I didn't have any problem with my mouse.
