How many girls..

So far I have gotten 33 girls in total. Although there are 3 chairs empty behind Haremancer's counter. All other chairs are occupied and some of the girls standing around. Has anyone been able to summon the girls for these 3 unclaimed chairs in a row?

Some girls you have to go through certain events to make them able to summon.
Like the candy girl, you have to beat her first before you can summon her.

There are 6 unlockable characters.
And I'm guessing you got 3 out of them.
So there's 3 more to go.

they saying something about 37 on tvtropes in one point. You can also read on the main page how to unlock certain girls. (yes, the game has an own page)

I'm only at 28 girls so far.

Is one of them that Leffy girl that offers to help you out? I never bothered opening a slot to bring her with me, but if I need to do that in order to recruit her as a regular party member I'll likely end up doing it at some point.

I looked for version 2.8.2 (3.0.0 is the current on steam). There are 7 unlockable girls:
Candy Lix can only be summoned after you defeat her; she appears on the stairs of Forest Dungeon Floor ID #1.
Dark Lord Arue can only be summoned after you defeat her in Part 2.
Spirit Queen can only be summoned after beating Part 2.
Carrot can only be summoned after beating Part 4.

Leffy comes to the village after three losses in battle. Challenge and beat her to have her join.
Haeti joins at the end of Part 4.
Anth joins at the end of Part 6.

Up to 32 girls now, with only Candy and Leffy as "unlockable" extras thus far.

If there really is 37 total girls to recruit for now, I believe that's everything I can get until I unlock the rest. Woo hoo!
