you know what happened last time
Agreed, give them time.
From what I understand, the game has been in development for a number of years already - but just by a small team (within the studio). So I'm kinda thinking sometime next year.
But if it ain't, it ain't and I'm perfectly fine with that.
Anyone looking for a time sink until then, I highly recommend Necesse. No, I'm not affiliated ... just love the game. Pixel graphics with base building, mining, exploration, combat and co-op (if wanted). Already sunk several hundred hours so far and it's still in EA. If you like Terraria, Minecraft, Rimworld, this should be a good fit.
Maybe the game has been delayed, maybe 2027 launch has always been the plan. Maybe the whole thing will get scrapped. In the grand scheme of things it truly doesn't matter.
I don't think they will shadow drop the game. Most likely they will announce the release date three to six months ahead of time with more information. Until then hit the snooze button and check back in three months.
But yeah at least HG ain’t going crazy with the over hyping and constant trailers this time lol
Sure, but we wouldn't know anything about that now, would we? To be scared about delays we don't know anything about is really pointless.
I DON'T want them to release it now actually but I DO want some news to let us know if they are still alive or dead in their bunker from carbon monoxide poisoning.
I wish they;d do what SCS Software does when they release a new map or big version update for the overall game which the latest so far from what I've read added a lot more depth. They focused less on maps this year and more on general updates it seemed.
Now what they do is give reveals in the form of the 'guess where we are' quizzes which are always fun followed by the actual answer a bit later.
Then after some radio silence they reveal some new industry not seen before and some new jobs.etc then more about the cities eventually followed by a dev stream showing off the map a week or so before release with a release date right after.
This is the other extreme where it's like something big happened internally and the way the economy is and the wars going on everywhere it could very well be. Our POTUS just made us a lot closer to the SHTF with Syria and it's literally biblical fitting every check mark possible all religion aside.
From both a physical and spiritual perspective major things have happened in just the last few weeks. The clock is about to run out................
As a result the devs are too afraid to tell us after the trailer hype so are literally grasping at straws to save the ship so to speak so once they go thru EVERY effing possibility they will likely come forwards saying they cannot do this game at this time but 'don't despair' if a solution comes out we will continue to work on it to not break players accounts.
IMHO if this is the case I say skip trying to transfer ANYTHING over and just have us make new accounts from scratch and the accounts not seeing each other in the slightest. Just focus on the game first and forget this account crap nonsense.
