Light No Fire

Light No Fire

What does the community want?
As much as I want this game today, yesterday, and tomorrow, I want Hello Games to take their time. While they're doing that, what are some features we want as a community? In a game made by the same people we know care enough to go into the negatives to revamp a game like No Mans Sky.
So, have at it people

A discovery server that works and doesn't forget/over write discoveries after major updates.
I want to be surprised with a great game that can be played singleplayer and offline, that's all. The rest... I'll totally leave up to the developers, let them have fun developing the game they want to create.

I want what they written onto the store page:
- the depth of a role playing game to the freedom of a survival sandbox
- varied and dense planet filled with immersive biomes, unique enemies and valuable resources to discover
- an ancient earth to uncover. One where you're not the hero. Thick with lore, mystery and a constant fight for survival
(note: lore does not mean story)

Also because I am not a builder, I would like NPCs to help me build.
I go and bring materials, they should do the building, based on templates / blueprints from other players.
Let us share blueprints in a workshop.

The world doesn't need to be the size of Earth. Size is not important.
Number of biomes and unique places and creatures is important.
And how they function.
We should see complex dependencies between between flora and fauna.
Creatures should hunt. They should make mistakes, like sometime attacking prey they normally don't for reasons which can make sense (defending something, not being familiar with that creature, having no choice...)
Prey should not always run, sometime should fight back.
We should see symbiosis between species like in Subnautica.

First of all, sorry for not writing this in english. I hope it’ll be better for you to copy and paste my words into the translator than me trying to explain my thoughts through a language I’m not very good at.

An AI to translate chat into whatever language you manage to understand. That's it.

I want tall mountain that don't look like hills, deep oceans with giant bioluminescent monsters, an improved building ui/system for intricate and unique building and some kind of meaningful gameplay loop beyond exploring. There needs to be some kind of incentive to explore.
Massive sea monsters, terrestrial behemoths, and a playable bull man/ Minotaur race
While I would like an offline single player version of the game it isn't a deal breaker for me I find the idea of a role-playing game set on an earth sized planet interesting enough to give it a go regardless.

I'd like the ability to ride and fly shown in the trailer. Other than that I'd like a free form role-playing experience where you improve at skills you use.

I want a fair price and most important: I want my PC that today can run NMS, run this. I'm not doing any upgrade but I want to play LNF.

If you can run NMS you will be fine with LNF, both are using the same engine as Worlds 2.0 was a update that came from the tech used in LNF. I'm pretty sure Hello Games said a few updates into NMS came from tech from LNF.

LNF looks like a normal coloured world from NMS, same art and everything but with non wacky colours.

My wish-list is kind of long, but comparative to NMS the two top things on my list are actual character progression and survival mechanics that feel like they matter. NMS doesn't have either of those things, so I worry that Hello Games may not appreciate just how much they would enhance the gameplay.

I want some news about game. Also I hope there will be procedurally generated animals useful to tame (everyone could find unique animal noone else have) and interesting world ready to explore (many different biomes, interesting quests, lot of different enemies).

I personally really hope there will be biomes that are super rare to find, maybe even only one place on the whole planet where there's a rare resource that appears only there, would be super cool! and there would break out huge fights over it or we'd stand in line or something cool like that xD

More communications from the Devs. LNF has become a Schrodinger's box (for me). Is it alive or isn't it? A once-a-month shout-out or screenshot of artwork would do.

Silence can be golden but too much silence not so much.
