Light No Fire

Will there be dedicated servers?
That is pretty much the only way I would play this, and I'm pretty certain I would play the living ♥♥♥♥ out of it. NMS by myself was interesting for a while, but ultimately felt empty and unrewarding. NMS with random strangers ranged from moderately to extremely unpleasant. I am a middle-aged gamer and I don't play games to meet people, but I love to play them with people I already know. I truly hope that I can do that in Light No Fire. I also hope that other people can have the experiences they are looking for. Except for griefers, who should be turned into human centipede balls and rolled into the ocean.

*I'm not applying my opinion to any else or even claiming that it is important.*

Unknown, but probably will be very similar to NMS. In NMS if you are not in a community area the chancing of bumping into a random player is basically zero.

In other words, probably no dedicated servers.

That's a bummer. Well, I'll wait and see what people say about player experience before I give it a try.
