Hoping for raccoons
1. Human (Given)
2. Rabbitfolk
3. Drow (Looked to be a white hair, pale skinned Elf?
4. Badgerfolk
5. Dragonkin (Horned person)
I assume because we have varying height profiles we will also see the following:
1. Dwarves
2. Elves
3. Lizardfolk
On the humanoid side
Humans of course
Some sort of horned humanoid
On the beastkin side
Rabbits
Deer
Badger
Fox/Wolves [Probably a general canid type of base]
If NMS's style of customization is anything to go by, likely will be a mix of heads, tails, and skin/fur patterns to mix and match between
Was certainly some more head shapes I saw but they were too out of focus or obscured by something else to tell what kind
There are some fantasy humans too, dwarves are a given cause they have the same selection of body types NMS does. Now if there's a bunch of big bushy beards to choose from, that's yet to be seen.
I also saw a character with a human head but deer like ears, so might be faun like looks too
I myself read them as a child and adored them. But they are unmistakably for children.
Hope this helps? I think I just wanted to flex.
Short body + human head = dwarf
Tall human + pointy ears = elf or vulcan
My point is with a free form character creator you can make also anything you want. The player character might be something analogous to the NMS traveler, not part of any of the indigenous species.
