Frankly, overall, I think the game was FAR more fun before they added the missions, though everything else in this update seems pretty great so far.
I'm doing this mission now and have went back 3 times. I failed the mission first time because I ran out of ammo and died(Ammo in bags don't auto use and I didn't know that at the time lol). Ugh, guess I will continue on then. That sucks though, that means I have to clear the hospital AGAIN in later difficulties. The parts of the quest that you already complete should stay completed. Like going to the nurses station part of the quest, that should stay marked as completed. Oh well, thank you for the reply. They really should mention this in the mission description.
I personally like the missions. I just started playing so I don't know what it was like before hand but I think it would have been boring and there would be no purpose to advance in the game without the missions. Also serves as a tutorial for beginners(A tutorial that also needs some tweaking because it took me a while to understand that you had to press Q and then finish the mission there lol They don't give a lot of info on where to go or what to do, which I get some people like, but, reading the quick guide helps a bit with that too) Yes, its a bit wonky and needs work but it is an EA game and WIP. So I'm sure the quest mechanic of the game will get better in the future. I like the missions, they just have to work out the kinks.
