Obliterate Them - Conquest of Shikoku

How could I complete this objective? I tried multiple methods and none of them are working,

I had one character ready outside gracia's room, ready to murder her as fast as possible.
Second character was down at Hideyoshi's boat, ready for koshosho to return.

kill gracia, and run that character south as fast as possible and jump into the camp. engage motochika but don't damage him too much, just get his attention.
koshosho should respawn at this point, kill her ASAP with your other character.

after a little bit some more officers will respawn around motochika, and the objective should pop a few moments later.

Been doing this multiple times and the objective will not appear. I have tried damaging him a little bit and not at all, he leaves the camp and his officers do eventually appear. The objective just doesn't pop up.

- Jump To Motochika Fort
** The mission will not start until the conversation is over.
- Motochika Kill (with 2 minutes)

I’m having trouble getting this objective to pop up. I feel like I’ve tried everything people have suggested here, but he just leaves the main camp regardless. Any help or suggestions?
