Where is the insulating tape?

To be honest: I've been going through the maps for days and haven't found this blue tape once.

Does anyone know where this could spawn?

Since the patch it has started dropping more often. Often found around tools and on boxes.

I went my first 2 weeks and only found 2 of them, but these days I find them all the time.

Metro is best for quick hideout upgrade items. Dam is better than Suburbs for the same reason. Anything with a wooden box that spawns tools and tool part items. Metal shelves are also a common place to see them. It's easier to find them as a contractor since you will be the first one running through the area most likely.

The gunpowder for the shooting range I haven't seen at all and I'm well over 100 hours into the game. That's my own little ran there :D
