Why is this not a part of the normal contractors game?

I am just wondering. Is the game on a different engine?

It just seems odd to separate the normal PvP and PvE modes from the BR and Exfil mode with completely separate games.

There is no PvE and PvP modes for either. They are both PvP. The original Contractors isn't a BR so this one is it's own title. I will say it is a little odd to have a BR and Exfil game in the same title, but considering the price I am not complaining.

The original contractors has PvP and PvE modes

This game has BR and exfil

I'm wondering why the BR and Exfil isn't just in the base contractors game is all. I'm not familiar with the development nor engine used in either.

Diffrent, or better, written code than the OG. If they decided to rewrite the OG for BR and Exfil mods would be unplayble for a good amount of time until authours update them. Some would stay unplayble.
Recent updates to OG already breaks mods in some way and adds new bugs.

Ah gotcha, so the BR / Exfil game does run on a different engine than the base game.
