Contractors Showdown

Contractors Showdown

What if you're terrible at Exfil Zone and lose everything?
I admit I completely suck at extraction shooters but I like this genre. Now my question.

What happens if you're that bad at it (like I am moste likely) and lose everything, like nothing left, not even enough cash. Also you suck that hard as a scav that you can't loot their either and die.

That's a theoretical worst case secenario. Is there even a way to get something to continue or are you just screwed?

Of course at one point you will get the hang of it but you have to learn but what if you lose everything in that time before you actually get decent in that game or even "gud" at one point?

Actually I only have played training as I had bad experience with other extraction shooters (non vr ) and plain afraid of PvP. Always get shot out of nowhere where it stops being fun but that genre is still very tempting for me.

You can buy a set of gear in medical shop for like 4-5k twice a day + u can get gear and money from scavs raids

Buy the medical gear as mentioned, then you sell each part from that kit individually. You make around 15-20k. Jump in and do some scav runs every 30min. Eventually you'll have enough to buy gear :)

Im terrible at this game right now, but this is how i get quick and easy money.

Thanks for the replies. I will try that. :)

Train with bots
Scav runs are your friends. Just grab everything you see and what you don't want sell. Keep all the med, weapons and armor until you have a setup

This, so much this.

and do scav runs. The timer for scav runs begins the moment you *START* your run. if you run that timer down to a couple minutes before you extract, you'll have roughly 15, 16 minutes before your next scav is ready to roll.

Theoretically possible, but not exactly probable. The scav run costs 0 resources, and the minimum you need to do is extract. Just beeline for the nearest extract and you have a kit to take into your next contractor raid. Do that a few times, then start going slightly out of your way to do a bit of looting every time. Slowly you'll start learning the maps, the hot spots, the safe spots, etc.

Map knowledge and player flow knowledge (spawn points vs. extraction points) are the no.1 skill to learn in extraction shooters. When you first start playing these games it feels like you can get killed out of nowhere, but that's because you're not aware that each map has a specific "flow" to the raids because of players moving between the fixed spawns, popular loot spots and fixed extracts. Once you learn that and how to avoid other players, the amount of random deaths goes down significantly.

There is a Training mode which is basically PvE so you can get a lot of map knowledge, game mechanics from that, etc.

I know people have said it but training REALLY does help with the map knowledge. I used it to help me learn routes to run and then when AI would shoot at you it taught me how to shoot, reload better, grab heals if needed, etc... so TRAINING really honestly does help in this game so I would try that.

Shooting at the AI also gets you a feel for how to aim properly, manager recoil, etc... AND if/when you die you wont lose the gear in training
I'm coming from tabor thought inqas smoked especially no stock but virtual stock type b is on point. I've onky not exiled 2 times out of 5 so far. Just playing suburbs trying to do tasks. Hit lvl 3 after one raid
It's got a cray learn curve but it's mostly common sense if you ever played tarkov
Make use of the scav runs everytime. As others also mentioned the key is to gain map knowledge and learn the player spawns. Also don´t run into the POIs headless, take a few minutes to hover around them and check for movement. Another tip: you don´t have to take every fight to the end. If you find yourself on lost ground, you can try to disengage (of course that is not possible everytime).

Having a partner in this game has some benefits, so maybe you could also look for someone to duo/trio with (keep in mind you could loose some attention for feeling to safe / because of chitchat)

Anyways keep on trying and dont be mad because of dying, every piece of gear was never yours from the start. Its always just your turn :D
Naked runs on metro are your friend if you die you lose nothing and guns are easy to find and cafeteria has enough food and water to last you all night playing if you can survive but either way nothing to lose if you bring nothing in you can even bring one grenade in your hand when you Q up to increase you survival odds

Trade ram sticks for scorpion evos. Run the cheapest ammo, ambush, and aim for the legs. Easiest kills ever
