1.1. There are no planned wipes during the current alpha test. There will be a wipe before the beta test begins.
1.2. The alpha test is expected to last for a few months, approximately until the end of March 2025.
1.3. I'm unclear on your question about the permanently online state and swapping to "official [early access?]"
2.1. Do scav runs at Dam. Try to loot as much as possible and extract collected valuables.
2.2. There is currently a bug that corrupts stored and printed ammunition (bullets and clips, not magazines). For example, ammunition brought back from dead players will cause your game to crash if you try to deploy with said ammunition.
2.3. Do not store ammunition in boxes until the ammo corruption bug is fixed.
2.4. Copies of quest items will appear for all players in your squad. This means that everyone can take the necessary quest items in one session.
2.5. As a scav player, do not shoot the NPC scavs. Rely on NPC scavs as sentries to alert you to the presence of enemy players.
2.6. You can rotate and squeeze items into tight spaces inside your backpack.
2.7. Try a naked contractor run at Metro.
3. The Battle Royale mode is still available. I'm unsure how populated it is, but the playerbase does include Meta device users.
