What can cheaters do?

I just died in a room in the subway after being shot in the head from 55m. Of course no one can kill me in a closed room. Can cheaters really just kill you at any time?

network switch aka freezing the server and make u crash or lag ( u both going to lag ), aim bot not so many but exist , item duplication which will not affect the game play, the devs are aware of them all but act stupid

there are cheaters in any game, the more competitive the more there are, and there will be cheaters in contractors since the core game is not new. if u find cheaters annoying: record, report and if then there will be no reaction from devs then u can start hating the game and developer.. let me give u an example that u can check right now how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ developer behaves: u know ghost of tabor? the game that lost hal the population in last 3 weeks to exfill? same game that is giving itself fake awards every year to trick ppl they have steam award for vr game? so before last wipe in december on tabor official facebok public realtions director posted top 10 players list.. and few minutes later under that list was video proof how one of those top10 players was sitting inside wall and farming player kills.. guess what developer of tabor did.. nothing. responded to every prise and asslicking but pretended he does not see the only video posted right below his top10 list. zero response. and i played 1500hours in tabor. i also played 2000hours in pavlov in its peak and developer there was also ignoring cheaters... in tabor u can still go and see on tabor facebook - it will be post from 18 december with top10 and video under. so unless u will show me same level of developer ignorance here i would say here is better - not perfect, but hopefully better than there.

There's a shixload of players out there who are cheating anyway, and they're being let off the hook.
EAC is useless, it's been introduced in various games, but when they decided to introduce it in VRChat, it was heavily criticized by people from various regions (unfortunately, it was introduced ignoring the criticism).
And it actually causes performance degradation.
I think the anti-cheaters should be a bit more selective.
You want to choose the ones that are more accurate and cause less performance degradation.

What player? Pretty sure i got killed by a cheater glitched out somewhere recently. Killed me in an impossible spot
