I'd be happy to see it implemented.
If you make users wait that long, players will quit and the game will become overpopulated.
TLDR: Just use Auto for your region select and try to play during peak hours.
That being said. PvE mode would attract more players who are not playing right now due to PvP, so the queue times would not be increased.
PvE does not attract more players than the amount of PvPers who will go play PvE because of increased queue times due to a drop in the playerbase of PvP. Then the PvE players can't come back because PvP has infinite queue times.
I've explained this dozens of times, but if you add PvE and people go join PvE then the PvP queues skyrocket and then people give up and when they give up the PvP queues go even higher and eventually the game literally dies. It's critical threshold that if you pass it, the game is dead.
I've seen it time and time again for queue based matchmaking including Tarkov where the devs had to reduce the minimum requirement for matches temporarily because so many people FROM PvP went over to PvE, not new players buying it.... existing players leaving it. Tarkov has millions of players though, so a solution like that works. This game does not.
I digress though, did want to try the game for its pvp set up if i could. But alas, crashing before raid and losing a bunch of kits to it is a lot worse than losing everything to some chad out in the field.
Would you really need all those hideout upgrades to make fighting braindead scavs easier?... Like seriously??
