FATAL ERROR

I just bought the game and i cant even open it because it says fatal error, someone know how to fix it?

this doesn't work for me unfortunately. I keep getting "fatal error" at launch no matter what video settings i try or how many times i re-install. if anyone gets a fix to this let me know cause I loved the game

I had the same problem, updating Windows 11 to version 24h2 helped, and running the game in Oculus mode

It seems windows update helped me too, I can play now. Running in VD

The game still doesn't launch well for me but I managed to no longer have any fatal errors.

I think you have a processor with a graphics chip.

Go to device manager, go to "graphics card"

Right click on your processor's graphics chip and "disable"

(but not your graphics card)

I no longer have fatal errors, but black screen and I hear the music lol, that's already progress,

I then had a white screen with small square waves (steam VR loading bug)

I clicked on the PC screen of the steamVR control panel and closed with the little cross, as a result I managed to launch it! Phew, I hope this comm will help more than one person.
