anyone else play on htc vive?
I think my vr headset is a little outdated, but the controls for my htc vive doesnt seem to pair with this game and anytime I try to do custom binds for it, for buttons like B/Y, it will not register as a new control type. Any help? I'd love to give this game a try because I just got my vr working again!

I am still on original Vive too, it is still a fantastic device! Using Index controllers though, Have you tried tinkering with the SteamVR controller settings?

Have vive too, and also rly loved it back then, but went for quest 3 few months ago - u should try it out, it s a rly great improvement (and costs much less than vive back then if u take 128gb version)

I had the original Vive but I am so glad I upgraded to the Quest 3. It is such a huge world of difference and makes me excited to use VR regularly. Honestly man, if you are going to stick with the VIve, then upgrade your controllers to Index for better support and compatibility. Otherwise, upgrade to the Quest 3 for a way better experience.
i upgraded from OG Vive to Vive Pro 8 days ago.. with 2.0 base stations, i already had valve index knuckles.. and Pro+2.0 BS+knuckles... damn it's veeeery veeeery good improvement. and IMHO - mobile VR is not for me, i don't like mobileVR - bad everything, maby except resolution (mine now is 2880 х 1600 for both eyes and 1440x1600 per eye)
I play on original HTC Vive Pro with original controllers and stuff works pretty good.
I had to unbind virtual crouch button tho, because it interfers with other actions.

OG here too
yeah OG's be aware, the HTC Vive almost certainly is a huge bottleneck for your system. I don't know if it is the HW or bad drivers. Used two different Viv'e on my previous and new system, my brand new Pimax (with WAY higher resolution) has 10x better performance especially with UEVR and REALVR mod, but in general.

Seriously the difference is insane, I wish I knew this years earlier

My only experience with pimax was pretty good.. the resolution was nuts, however i despise pimax software.

yeah I hear that! but it is pretty good now, you can even switch to Upscale 90hz on the fly which is really really sweet next to PimaxXR. Did run into some problems though testing the headset, but couldn't send it back because off the insane display, there is no alternative in this price-class at the moment.

Also to be fair, I use Vive feet Trackers (with Nalo) & Index controllers (so Base stations) combined with lot's off UEVR and REALVR and stuff like that, I don't think everyone will have those problems. Also I worked it all out and everything runs great now.

Only thing I don't like is how uncomfortable it is (well without mods anyway, have to check that out still) and how it messes up my hair. Both things worse then the 10 year old Htc Vive which is kinda crazy
