Godot engine has stopped working

i cant run the game and it kept showing a pop up "godot engine has stopped working"
im on windows 7 btw

W7 isn't listed as a supported OS.
Maybe someone has a workaround but it's not officially compatible it seems.

i have the same issue,it always happens when i pick a character and start a run.I don't know why it does this.

Windows 7 is not officially supported.
You can try running the game in OpenGL3 compatibility mode by adding the "--rendering-driver opengl3" parameter to your Steam configuration and see if that helps.
The actual answer is you should consider updating to Windows 10. Win 7 is 15 years old. XD

steam dropped support for windows 8 and below just this january, which means steam wont receive updates or security updates for those systems, so u should upgrade to win10. google "github microsoft activation scripts"

this keeps happening to me around 15 mins in regardless of what is going on, i once paused it came back and the game died.
