Official news about 2025 versions

Hello everyone, sorry for the radio silence these past few months, I'm typically monitoring the Steam forums but have been super busy lately.
The 2025 versions will be available on Steam soon. In the past, we've usually "released" the next version early, even if the first big update was a month or two later. This year, the release of the 2025 versions of our tools will coincide with the first major update of Painter for 2025, in March.
In the meantime, any update between now and then will be covered by the 2024 license.

They should call it "Substance Painter 2025 Spring" not "Substance Painter 2025"

It´s a shame, no release-discount and no more discount for people who own earlier versions...
In that way, it´s much too expensive for hobbyists like me ^^

so, the marketing team held the release for five months because the pen tool can now be a closed shape? i was expecting something ground breaking, like firefly integration or even basic sculpting to be worth the almost half-a-year delay (parting from the first "soon" response).

i guess the pen tool closing is breaking enough, but i wouldn't say the pen tool being the 70% of painter, if anything, the brush tool is 70% of painter and it's there since 2014, so, no, i disagree, this is not a 60-70% update.

oh well. groundbreaking minor patches it is.

How do I get my update from 2024 to 2025, having only recently purchased it? Thank you ^_^ X

I would really like to know if this is possible
and it also reports that version 2024 presents frequent instability when Windows updates
