Linux possibility?

I am really wanting to swap to linux but need substance painter for hobbies/work. Does running it through steam allow it to work on linux?

Substance have linux compatibility since the Allegorithmic era.
But don't buy from Adobe Cloud since it doesn't have any linux support.

if there is a steam icon beside the windows on the store page that means it should work, although there are a few developers who include that icon there but don't actually support linux.
