good Job Adobe
You proven, your greed....

we should NOT have to repay for work, we already paid for...

Updates like normal is fine.. .this is getting out of hand.... People are struggling and you put the knife in deeper with your greed.....

But as a long time user since day 1... I will NO longer buy your products, I have well over 10k hours in Substance Designer.... I always bought Painter as well, Stager and Sampler.. Now you pull this crap and drop Sampler after pushing it on us...

total crap.. shame on you...

Just due to this, I can still do my job and use SD 2023...the difference you get NOTHING from me.... Not a penny ..... and I know alot of users will do the same...

This is shady behavior recharging us for past work.... The other discount I defended you, but previous owners... are you joking me?

No sorry I cant let that go.... Nor will alot of others....

/rant off..

PS, I use CS6 and Affinity Designer, which is actually better.. So you can lose customers, we will look else where or use older software.,. it has all we need.. We all knew you would show your greed sooner or later, you proven us users right every time..

I was considering upgrading to 2024 since I skipped last year. But if this is the "sale" price I'm good with staying with 2022. Like ZBrush before MAXON bought them it does everything I need it to do.

ya this is the price, they are also raising it after Jan1 to 200$, most people will just pass on it.. .everything is going up in costs, besides our pay at our jobs.... So people are spending less...

They drop Sampler? What do you mean by that?

I still have CS6 but I've since moved over to Photopea because I'm on linux and CS6 is a nightmare on Linux. If Affinity supported native Linux I'd jump at the chance.

Thing is, I don't think they mind if they lose some Steam users. Adobe staff have on occasions flat-out denied you can buy the Substance products on Steam, such is our lack of importance in support employee training.

They are probably doing the vast majority of their business on the Substance products from users buying the subscription bundle that includes the Substance range. I suspect we're part of a legacy thing where they know it's only bad press to stop selling on Steam entirely, but they don't feel pressed to make Steam purchases particularly enticing.
