What do I use Soul Cinders for?

After this most recent update changed skill points to be unlocked with those red Cinders, what am I supposed to use Soul Cinders for now? I don't got weapons or medallions to unlock. And so, are they used for anything?

Bump, I'm trying to grind the red medallions for unlocks now and it seems like the soul cinders are currently useless. Not sure if there's a planned mechanic to convert the currencies for unlocks? I regularly am stockpiling hundreds of the purple soul cinders and it always warns me I could lose them, but that doesn't exactly seem to matter with where I am in the games progression

The only function is to get heal when you have the specific medallion.

We're working on secondary system to spend them, But yes for now if you've unlocked everything they become useless. Next update should already add something cool to spend your cinders on =p

Oh? Awesome! Yeah, I was just curious since I always get warned I might lose them and I wasn't sure whether I should actually care or not. But yeah, I've unlocked all the things. Anyway--excited for the next update! Act 2 was pretty dope!
