Suggestions on where to spend glimmers?
Hi!
I'm struggling a little bit with how repetitive the game is at the beginning. I probably did 10 run, still haven't defeated the first boss and every time i face it, it feels like a health sponge.

I'm wondering if I'm missing something, maybe I should spend my glimmers on weapons instead of buffing skills?

DId you try to kick the stone during the combat?

I also struggle with the first boss. Yes, I kick the stones, I evade waiting for new stones to drop etc. I know I'm not the most skilled player in these fast paced games (too old I guess), bit I usually can manage with a bit more practice. But this is getting very frustrating; in the second phase every mistake is punished and it really takes a lot of hits to get her healthbar down. The levels before are nice, but there's not enough variation to keep me motivated for yet another run without progression. I also think the upgrade system (where you first have to buy diamonds and unlock different trees) is a bit too opaque - I'd just like a bit more health or damage resistance or damage output ...

Berude really isn't difficult.

It's all about pattern recognition.
I am not going to lie. I felt like I would never beat him during my initial playthroughs either, but it's now almost always a perfect no-hit fight for me.

There are moments where you can deliver him the damage and moments where you'll have to be patient and wait for the next opening.

Medallions, elemental ones in particular, help a lot too.

Just keep calm and try to learn his patterns. If not, you'll find it a lot more difficult to deal with the second boss. And even he isn't all that difficult when you follow the same line of thought.

Learn the patterns and be patient. Just don't expect to hack him to bits in one single onslaught.
