Can't get it to work

I'm on the newest version of Win 10 and when I try to run this game the cursor doesn't move, so i can't click anything or start the game.

It apperas the system requirments only state windows xp vista and 7 as the supported systems.
Could this mean the game isn't supported on windows 8 and 10?
Can anyone who bought the game on those windows systems confirm or deny this?

My brother is playing it on Windows 8.1 right now and it's working fine. It just seems to vary greatly between PC's whether or not it works.

I'm sure they will fix this problem in a day or two, if I really wanted to play it I could put in my original boxed copy of the game.

Can you try to run the game in compatibility mode?
We have tested it on Win10 and it worked perfectly so I think it has to do something with graphic drivers or background programs that interfere.

the cursor works but the graphic of the cursor is stuck in the middle of the screen so I can't see where I am clicking. Running the game in windows 7 compatibility mode fixed this, it works now.

the issue is caused from display scaling set a custom display size of 149% or 148% if desktop size is above 150%

google will help on how to do this but that is the issue and the solution
